Odd, my son plays his is blue just like mine. Are you talking split screen or something, or do you have a camera?
Nope no camera. When I log into my profile the light is blue if my wife logs into hers with it the light changes to red. both controllers do it.
I must have a setting wrong
I don't ever remember changing a setting. I have my system so my profile is the default one and logs in when I turn on the PS4 so my light is blue but when I change the profile to my wife's it changes to colour to red.
Mine is the default profile. When my son logs in and plays, it stays blue..but I watch it change to red when he gets killed or shot at in KZ. Weird.
My thoughts exactly too. And the same for the MP3 support they refuse to add. Sony is taking advantage of early adopters if you ask me.
Because the controllers use bluetooth and theres only so many bluetooth devices you can have.
Its not that as you can use a Bluetooth headset with PS3 and the controllers are also Bluetooth. The PS3 bluetooth may nto work as the PS4 uses a different Bluetooth standard then PS3. The fact you can use to buy one or use one is just right BS. The mic that came with PS3 is s*** and I'm damn sure not buying a big ass headset from Sony.
Damn killzone them looks that colour. Only did like 3 cheapers so far but that space one just f***ing sucked I was lost all the f***ing time not able to see s*** and WTF is this s*** a puzzle game with pulling the power things and moving them around.
Dat drought. Couldn't do Infamous. I thought it was pretty, but was just bored with that and AC: BF. GTA 5 and Far Cry 3 are just so recent in memory and superior products. Thought about playing stick it to the man, but I have about 10 indies on backlog to try already.
I played some of Infamous at my friends house. Its okay, but the series has never been one of my favorites, and im not really that jazzed to play it. Maybe when it hits $20. On terms of it's looks, its pretty, but I still think Ryse and Killzone look better overall, though im sure Infamous is the better game. Ill probably just hold off and see if Watch Dogs is any good. If it is, it'll probably be the first PS4 game I get. If it's mediocre (which im predicting), my wait will continue. Ill probably get a PS+ membership this week to get in on some freebies though. Im getting Wolfenstein for the X1 next Tuesday, so that's pretty much what I have my sights set on, though I hope that doesn't turn out to be a disappointment.I know what you should do next. Get PS+, download Resogun and Stick it to the Man and if you were adding the previous PS+ titles to your account, you would have a handful of games to play already.
Also, I recommend Infamous: SS, best looking game out right now!
Seriously, Project Beast better be real. because I honestly think that's what compelled my brain into thinking I need this system right now lol. Even if it is real, its probably not coming till end of 2015. Oh well, I was gonna get one anyway, but the speed and ferocity with which I grabbed the box off the shelf and headed to the check out counter surprised even me lol. Its still sitting in the box. I feel like im fighting against possibly taking it back and just waiting for a deal on an eventual bundle. But I probably wont do that, because obviously I have no will power when it comes to video games.
I fight the urge to get a new video card every time I go into bestbuy. They have a 770 and 780 which I would love to have either one. But I don't game on PC enough right now to justify it.

Yeah, I went and bought a 680 for my gaming rig, but only played one game since then. Big waste of money. I'm finding that even though you can often get the best performance, I just don't enjoy gaming on PC.
Those Impulse buys really do stick it in and break it off, don't they.
Yep. That's exactly what happened with me on the original Xbox as well. I was all "Microsoft doesn't know crap about consoles", then Knights of the Old Republic comes out to rave reviews, and im all "a Star Wars RPG???" I walked out of the store one day with the Xbox, KOTOR, Halo, and Dead or Alive, before I even knew what happened.
Played Daylight. Not bad, but very inaccurate lighting. You can walk right up to a wall with a glowstick and not realize you have your nose to the drywall. Other than that, I've been enjoying it, but then I found the fatal flaw for how to beat the game, and now the horror lost its magic.
Watch Dogs is a rollercoaster. Won't stop me from getting it though.
Same, I'll still be getting it. Beat it quick then sell it to use the money to preorder something else.
Maybe Murdered: Soul Suspect or The Last of Us: Remastered.
How would you guys feel about shutting down this thread and spreading discussion out into separate threads? Any strong feelings, one way or the other?
The logic to shutting it down would be that by doing so, the PS4 forum might be a little more lively. As it is, a lot of miscellaneous stuff gets talked about here, but it usually doesn't get much traction. It attracts a couple of posts, then we move on. I'm thinking that if we didn't have this "miscellaneous" thread where people put all their miscellaneous talk, it might get them to create more threads and more variety. I'm thinking that if the subjects got a little more attention (by each having their own thread), they might get more attention and discussion. We could start a bunch of smaller threads on the types of subjects that get discussed here -- who owns the console, who just bought it, what game you're playing, what you're looking forward to playing next, issues with the controller or lightbar, etc.
I don't know, though, and I wanted to get some input. What do you guys think?
