Some leaks and rumours so far:

1. Unprecedented; Some special announcements
2. Show a "bunch" of stuff maybe we shouldn't yet
3. This is an event for the fans
4. Eighty indie games; "super special" NMS announcement
5. Morpheus will make US hands-on debut

More:

+ Uncharted 4 will be there in some form I don't think we have to stretch far to say
+ The Order: 1886 is going to have a new hands-on gameplay demo that's supposed to be pretty great per shinobi
+ Capcom has a special announcement (given the teasing these past few weeks)
+ NMS Sean Murray said "Lovely day with @TheSakeDiary and the Sony crew. Saw something amazing coming to PS4 owners soon that I probably can't talk about"
+ Gameblog France Editor said he heard big announcement that will make people RAGE in December
+ New Bloodborne Features/Gameplay to be shown
+ New David Jaffe title to be shown
+ ?Sony Bend Open world Horror game?
+ Sony San Diego has a surprise and "It's not MLB".

can't say that I am the least bit surprised. but its amazing how some people never take heed to these types of things.
 
GIF nearly crashed my phone. It definitely needs to be downsized. And I'm hoping for over a hundred new indie games being ported over to the PS4.
 
That's the sixth person saying that Sony has secured a megaton exclusive and that fans of a certain other platform will get mad/dissapointed/pissed off/rage...

Sony is absolutely dominant right now. Their 2015 is already so damn strong.

Its called disappointment. Every so called megaton has always been a disappointment.

I will check out the stuff may even load up the live stream from time to time. Hope we get some good stuff. MS has been doing great as of late and been very open on their plans Sony has been tight lipped so I hope they come out with some great info.
 
I do like their tactic of creating a diversion based on future games to mask that they dont have any exclusives currently.

they have a few but it depends on if they're your type of games if that is a good thing or not.

Yeah. I'm interest in The Order. But Bloodborn not so much. Even though it looks cool.

I want to get LBP3 at some point.

This event sounds interesting if the rumors are true.

I'm talking specifically about this holiday. They have what? Lbp3 and driveclub. So they hold a shindig to drum up hype for next year.
 
I am not getting worked up about potential announcments. Hopefully something cool is announced though.

What I am looking forward to is...

1. Impressions on Morpheus.
2. New Bloodbouren details & Gameplay
3. New Info on No Mans Sky, hopefully.
4. The Virtual Reality live panel
 
I'm hoping for some info on Rime, too.
 
Word on the street is that the big exclusive is Street Fighter V.

Already confirmed, but I'm not sure this is the only big announcement.

Kojima / MGs new fox engine update.
Squire / final fantasy 7 remaster - which has been seen in prototype phase. All rearly ... 7/8/9 will get remasted. Not exclusive
Sony jp... The last guardian.
Sony jp ... Gt5 remasted
Naughty dog .. The last of us dlc and possibly sequel. Uncharted 4
Capcom .. Dragon dogma 2. Or street fighter 5
Edboon :). Mk9999

These are being talked about at lengths but I can't verify. I do know there is huge talks of RAGE 2.
But what I do know is project Morpheus is going to make a solid impression. Weather on stage or not game on is marked as Project Morpheus game. Same as no Mans sky will also use Morpheus. Crash is also been talked about but it's far of in dev."

- Why a GT 5 remaster and not GT6, strange.
- Battlefront exclusive content, seems strange considering that EA and MS seem to be holding hands.
- Last Guardian, would be nice, but right now that can only be considered as fantastical.
 
I'm going to keep my hype levels in check, sony is known to announce games waaayyy off in the distance. I'm sure if I could see games from over a year from now I would get hyped, but theres plenty of space for games in 2015, PLENTY.
 
It sounds like if you want to be hyped for any event this past year this is the event to be hyped for.
