It does sound goofy, but it is a pro-consumer move. Anybody that wanted to buy a used game but had the digital PS5 now at least has the option.
But why would they be nice to consumers when they already have digital owners imprisoned to their store where they keep prices far higher than you can buy physical games?
This connects with something I was told.
Let me add... Sony is considering only adding 4GB's to the Pro. So it would have 20GB's of ram if what I heard is true.

It's much worse for Xbox, but agreed. These companies need to take advantage of what's currently released before making plans for midgen models.
We just have another Spider-Man from the PS Studios announced for all of 2023 right now. There has been like 30 other Spider-Man games.
Yeah maybe more announcements soon? Sony released most of what they announced from last showcase already.
this is because we have had more cross gen titles than ever before, which meant quantity over quality (not saying the games havent been quality but just very samey)
Nobody cares about the second part of TLOU2 that was dumped from the original game. It’s late. That would be like saying Halo forge is a new game. And it Microsoft Windows PC day one.

As expected, Sony said they were going to support crossgen for at least 3 years. 2023 should be the end of it I hope.
That's how you run exploits on the PS4 in order to do fun stuff. Not sure if the PS5 ever had one since I'm a noob.
Anyone else try playing the disc version of The Last Guardian without any updates running at 60fps? I wish the controls were better. The game is so much better at 60fps, but the terrible controls and camera make it such a chore to play. I gave up trying to make catbird jump into the water in the beginning.
