PlayStation In Disarray

I'm not surprised the sweeping change to GaaS is coming back to haunt them. This a company who's studios aren't that way inclined. These studios have been built over years & years to pump out Single Player narrative games. To assume in just a few years you would capable of driving 10 GaaS games is very short sighted.

It isn't like Xbox who have been in the online gaming space since the day the Xbox released (nearly) to now.

Not sure if it is Sony greed or fear brought on by MS finally utilising their massive financial resources to invest and grow Xbox, but it really does seem like Playstation messed up big time.

Well, one company is going straight out the door as a GAAS, with jade Raymond

A woman most know for her single player narrative games.

Ironically, her only (as far as I know) work on a GaaS type game was on the extremely controversial Battlefront 2. Lol. Where it was so Pay to Win and so despicable EA's only way of moving forward was to remove Microtransactions completely. Lol.

Look at the most played GaaS games on console. They are pretty much all from those who stayed in the area they had been doing for a while.
