AC4 looks awesome sometimes, but wow for the most part the character models just look horrible. I mean if you told it was running on ps3 I would believe it. Not even a good looking ps3 game either. The water and backgrounds are nice though

I think the textures on the main characters clothes look great, the faces are fine too but especially when it comes to Edward they should have remodeled his hair for the next gen versions, it stands out at times in a bad way when compared to a lot of other things that look great.

I think the faces and hair are terrible, the textures are alright I agree, I won't name any names, but I've been playing something that absolutely crushes these character models, but I hope they do a true next gen version for AC5 and take advantage of the ps4 completely. I understand though, cross gen games makes some compromises, and this game looks great at times. Maybe they will use that Division game's engine for AC5?
 
I'm almost near the end and i don't want it to end...It's just too damn good. I just love this setting i can't get enough of the sea. I will DEFINITELY buy all SP related DLC for this game.

I got my ship maximized and now it is a monster. I took out all the legendary ships and unlocked the final special ability. And to think there was a time when i would sh!t my pants when i run into a Man o war! Now i eat them for breakfast.
 
Yeah I've been taking out Man o war's for a while, even before the ship was maximized but damn some of those legendary ship battles are rough.

Yeah it's a cross gen open world game but it's also in 1080p, runs at a seemingly rock solid 30 fps and the environments for the most part look great IMO. Yes the models could have been improved upon no doubt about it but given the things they were able to improve on the ps4 vs the 360/ps3 versions of the game I'm excited to see what they'll be able to do as time goes on.
 
You uckers are getting me excited to play AC4, hopefully I have it by Thur or Fri.

Sony's motto this gen should be 'Never Stop Sharing'. It really is a killer feature of the two consoles.

I have both systems and it's a shame that Xbox games don't look as good as PS4 on some multi-plats, cause I really want to play more online games on the Xbox, like BF4, and I don't want to have to compromise.

I'm about 3/4 done AC4 on the main storyline now and enjoying it more than when I first started, since I know what I'm doing now haha.

Haha Thanks for the compliment on the pics. I honestly think it's one of the best AC games that have been made so I'm glad you are enjoying it too.
