Plex in North America (PS4)

Has there been any word on when Plex intend to release there software here in North America? The UK and European market seem to have had it for a while now on the Playstation 4 and 3. I find it odd it hasn't arrived here yet, is there any reason why?

It's on the app store now but it's only for plexpass users so far. Same thing on the One I think they did say they will remove that in the future so anyone can use it.
