Because it looks fun, it's call of duty, it's a time sink and I am ready to get my twitch and twerk on with it.
I've been trying very hard to understand the reason people are excited about this game. So far it's been a colossal failure.

It's the cool thing to do, rag on COD even with a bazillion sales.Game hasn't come out yet. Not sure how it's a colossal failure.
Finally, back to a decent co-op in COD. f*** that zombie and extinction bull s***.

At least one of us explains our self. This explains a lot.

I'm not afraid to admit that COD is only COD by name now, but even though I don't like that we don't have the COD of prior, I still love the new ones. They should just be a different IP.
Colossal failure is in my attempt to see something special in this game, not the game itself.

Lots of sales do not mean it is a great game in the eyes of everyone. lol @ you dismissing peoples opinions.
But he's kinda got a point. It's an extremely popular game that for the most part, many enjoy. It seems like the popular games get ragged on often. Same with Halo, WoW, etc.
There are plenty of cruddy games out there, people don't like them, they move on. With games like Halo and CoD, people feel the need to bash it for pages on end. I won't name any names, but in this forum and TXB, there's some that bashed BO2 to no end, but now wish Ghosts was as good....and back when MW3 came out, they bashed it to no end, and then BO2 came out, and they missed MW3. And so on and so on. And they'll go on for pages and pages, month after month, bashing the game.
So, as much as I hate to agree with him...he's right. People irrationally rag on the game because it's the cool thing to do.
That's how it is. Same goes for pretty much all industries. Apple releases an iPhone 6 Plus and it bends in someones pocket because they're wearing skinny jeans and it's a 'Bend Gate'. A lesser popular phone could come apart at the seams and it wouldn't get as much backlash. But he's kinda got a point. It's an extremely popular game that for the most part, many enjoy. They actually should be. Anybody that has nothing but praise for something should be dismissed just as someone who has absolutely nothing good to say should be dismissed, i.e. you throw out the high, you throw out the low, and there's what you should be looking at.Yea but there are people who genuinely think the game blows as well, that cannot be dismissed either.

Totally agreed. I think Ghosts blew. It was the first CoD ever that I stopped playing before the new year even really began.
However, his comment was directly connected to someone calling the game a colossal failure, and the game isn't even out yet.
In which I would agree with that statement, but he came back and said the colossal failure was him finding fun in that video.
And I totally agree on that, but like Team, I 'meh'd' at the video as well. Nothing special. Just because I don't find it appealing or the "pinnacle of fps" it doesn't mean my opinion is wrong, an opinion cannot be wrong. Not saying that you should care about peoples opinions, but you cannot tell them they are wrong for having the opinion they do because at that point you just look dumb. Just because someone doesn't like something that is popular it doesn't always mean they are a "hater".Fair enough, but Kvally's comment was still made before team clarified himself. In context, he would be right.
