Note that the life cycle itself doesn't have to match up with a new console as shown by the PS2 and Wii, 360 most currently.
X1 and PS4 - I'm confident in saying both consoles will experience a solid decade of content. Maybe losing steam to the next thing in the seventh or eighth year. I'll be happy about that personally, as I really enjoy a long life cycle and the way a console can really be pushed to it's limits. We saw some great things done on the 360 and PS3 because of it, so here's hoping for a similar trend.
Wii U - To be frank, unless it catches on, I don't see this lasting more than a total of five years. It's just not that popular, sales haven't been great, and it generally has failed to produce a feeling of excitement post launch. It doesn't help that they lost a ton of third party support either, which is vital for a solid life cycle in my opinion.
