Retailers are adjusting pricing with most already converted. Games is hit and miss. Games already out may still be at $60, but games coming out are more likely to be $70.

Still a long way from $95 we pay for games.

Relativity.

How much is minimum wage?

I don't know if they got their minimum wage set up in Germany yet but their average monthly salary is over $5,606. in US dollars while ours is around $3,800. So on average they make substantially more money there than we do here in the States. I don't know their tax rates but I'm guessing they get more for the money in that regard as well. I don't know if income inequality is as bad there either, I know plenty of people who make well below the average monthly wage here in the US myself included.

The way to tackle the high price on stuff is buy less, buy used, & do not buy unnecessary things. Old school. Nothing magical.

Using of credit card for paying stuff is surprising low (in usage, as well as places that accept), as people believe you should spend what you have & not pay on credit. Of course, things like House, & often car, you have to pay in installments.

Sounds random. I guess Sony doesn't want to sell that many more PS4s in Canada. No point in buying one when you can just get an Xbox One for $50 more.

I put as much s*** as I can on my CC then just pay it off every month I get paid to use it hot damn. I'm about to put as many bills that I pay monthly as I can hell if I can will even use it to pay my house payment every month.

What do you mean no point? Unless you only prefer Xbox exclusives, PS4 still has plenty to offer: Better multiplatforms, still cheaper console and online service.

I kind of understand why Sony is doing this. they're on record saying they lose a bit of money on each PS4 sold. with the exchange rate they'd lose even more money and the CDN market is not so big that they'd be willing to lose that much cash.

Now MS said they make a profit on each One sold so they can stand the little bit of money lost but nobody is going to pay $500 plus and even more tax on a One. So everyone knows here in ON tax is %13 when you buy something. f***ing POS ON. The One would be over $600 if they rise up their price as the same rate as Sony did.

f*** at this rate spend a little more and build a gaming PC and you'll save money with steam sales and s***.

If Microsoft had done this it would be considered evil and greedy. Sony should have adjusted the price pre launch.

Seems like some places like SDM are selling the PS4 with Knack for $449.99 and it's a physical copy of the game, not digital.

I think these consoles are gonna come down quicker than last gen.

But if the games are going up to $70 well, that will just cause more people to wait for major price drops on games. I rarely buy a game these days until it hits $20, maybe $30 for a must have title, usually only takes about 3 months to find them drop that much for most games.

the game price is what stings. Luckily everyone is in love with EBgames & Gamestop including Sony? As long as we can buy used games with no kickbacks to evil MS.
