PS4 1.70 Update coming April 30 introducing PRE-loading and more!

It's activated in the 1.70 update but the developers also play a role in making pre-loading work for their game I think.
 
Such an awesome feature, I really hate waiting up until 3am to start a download, then in my case waiting on MSs slow servers (compared to Valve).
 
Well, the fact that preloading is enabled is great. I assume it's the choice of the game publisher as to whether or not they want their game to be preloaded? Other than a piracy concern (which I don't think there is a concern), I can only see this as a win win for publishers to enable it for all of their games. I don't know what the technical hurdles are though...that is all over my head.
 
Pre loading is such a sweet feature. I'm still trying to figure out how to buy my ps4 without my wife noticing

It is in and running now. Post Destiny, I would expect it to gather pace pretty quickly. Now, if only that other console would get this feature.
 
ShareFactory needs some work. Only a finite number of videos show up, and which videos show up is not gauged by how recently it was captured, meaning I can't do anything with my Transistor clips. We need moar updates.
