They showed some very brief gameplay of it during E3, The Order that is, and that too again was in narrow locations and it consisted mostly of cutscenes and a QTE, small bit of walking and shooting. QB already seems to offer wider locations.

Gears was portrayed as a grey and brown shooter, but that was due to the environment of destruction. The sight lines were clear. And it was a mix of corridors and more open battle areas where you can move around. The Order is being played within an 800p game window and is so gray, the last time I saw so much haze was during the PS1 and PS2 days when 3D gaming had all kinds of fog to help performance.

Yeah true. The only impressive things we've seen are the faces, animations and the buildings in that footage before E3. But so far it indeed has been mostly corridors.

Best looking game I have seen to date based on the game play and cutscenes, yes. But the important part here is the gameplay. It has Alan Wake like gameplay, and that alone is a guaranteed sale in my book.
 
Best looking faces I've seen. Remedy was right to hype its facial tech.
 
When is Gamescom again? Can't wait to see more of this. Have to say it was missed at E3 but understand that MS needs to hold some things back for other venues. Still my most anticipated game...
 
Yeah, I can't wait to see more of QB. Hopefully Remedy will show something more substantial there, E3 was just a tease.

Gamescom is supposed to be a QB blowout. I still do not know what to make of the game. So hopefully it is a substantial showing.

It looks to have some trappings of AW with some sort of time control/manipulation peppered through out. Looks intriguing, I have liked most of Remedy's work to this point.

Xbox One needs a big game for the first half of 2015. Expecting (and hoping that) Quantum Break will release during that period.

Second half of 2015 will be Halo 5 (obviously), Forza Motorsport 6 (more than likely), and possibly a Gears of War Collection. Should be a couple new IPs too (whether retail or digital only).

Fable Legends comes Q1/Q2 though, right ? I have heard nothing of a Gears collection.
 
I think this will be next year. The FL beta starts this year.

Yes, it's slated for 2015. Keep forgetting about it since I have no interest in Fable.

Definitely think we will see it coming. Would be a good way to get people more hyped for the upcoming (Black Tusk) Gears of War.
 
I also think we'll see a Gears Collection. I don't think we'd see it until Fall 2015 though.
 
Unsubstantiated (aren't they usually ;) ) rumor that the QB demo to be shown at Gamescom will be available on XBL right afterwards.
Big bag o' salt my friends but that would be sweet.
