That would make more sense considering the Fortnite UE5 upgrade runs better on Series X and likely had near peak levels of optimization for both consoles.
That comment was more the cross gen difference between Ps5 and 4. But interestingly not developed with PC in mind.

In 3rd person in the outdoor sections it reminds me of ME Andromeda.
Devs say Quantum Error was made to be played on Ps5, will need to change some things for slower Xbox SSD.
Probably not enough resources for the port to PS4 and with PS5 being the main platform, it would be tough for last gen.

Time will tell but with such a small team , they probably had to focus mainly on one platform (PS5) for now. So they weren't really lying , just some PR talk similar to MS
