Rainbow Six live stream from 7/17

I never played these RS games, but I'll definitely give it a try. Lots of campy goodness in the gameplay which I like. Lots of narrow rooms, clutter, cover and small number of entry points which I like. Hoping there's claymores or anti-personnel mines to scatter at doorways.

Who needs teamwork in these maps shown. Heck, it reminds me of Call of Duty holing up in second floor buildings staring at doorways and staircases watching for enemies. I'll die, but as long as I can take down 2-3 enemies first I did my job.

This game is going to be amazing. My most.. scratch that.. my only anticipated shooter/mp game; besides Halo.

The more I see the more I like. Looks like I may have a shooter to play this year afterall

This is what Rainbow Six is about, They lost it on Vegas trying to go with COD. They need to stick with this!

wow looks awesome, too bad by the time it comes out it will be downgraded like f***.

I wonder if this game will have any of the classic Terrorist Hunt type of stuff? I used to play that all the time co-op & it was fun. The map shown off so far just doesn't look like it would ever support anything like that.

Yeah, but it's like all the companies do this now. It's just like those old Watch Dogs videos. Plus, the game isn't coming out for another year, so who knows...

I'm still excited about Siege but I'm already tired of that map and I've only seen it played a handful of times. Hopefully some meaningful different tactics will show up in the final game. This seems pretty shallow at this point.

With more than a year until release I'd like to think it's simply a matter of polished pc demo (especially for presentation) vs working but not pretty console demo, because they haven't worked on it as much.

In a perfect world. But with ubisofts track record..

They are the premier in bullshots

Couldn't care less about the graphics.

I am on the same page. If it looked like the original rainbow six on the original xbox, I wouldn't care so long as the game was fun as hell.

Did you see that....holy crap....TEAM WORK still exists!

I loved the first Vegas game and i really do not see the comparison with CoD here, not at all.

Vegas 2 wasn't too good though. I am so glad but also very surprised that Ubi is going back to the roots of R6. No cover system in third person, it looks much more like Raven Shield than Vegas, very surprised. They also could have pulled a Ghost Recon FS...completely ruin a franchise and make it terribly casual and just bad in general. But they didn't...awesome.

Never played a Rainbow 6 game but this looks spectacular. Team work to the fullest.

this is going back (almost) to Rainbow SIx's early days... cannot wait for this game. Alpha textures and all, just bring it... looks like an amazing tactical shooter!

Not sure a staged demo is the best way to judge the tactical nature of the game. To be honest, from what they have shown so far( or at least what I have seen)the tactics seem to be limited to a few repetitive actions.

on the videos the first two rounds are staged... the later half of the stream is unscripted and you can tell. they aren't as coordinated.

The fact that there is a planning stage and it looks like the game is structured so there can't really be a lone gunman to succeed, means teamwork will be key.
