Thanks for the info fellas. I think I better wait longer till I really have to dive in this world. Should probably finish some more games already in my backlog.

I really hope this gets some sort of "this gen" upgrade at some point, a frame rate upgrade would be incredible. I never got super far into the game, it strangely wasn't connecting with me like the first (one of my all time favorite games).
It is a totally different game on a high end PC. It looks amazing and has much better load times and fps.
Came in here hoping to read it got upgraded. Oh well not playing it on PC(heat)

It was great if you can handle the slower pace. I thought it was awesome with great characters and an engaging story...

I was going to get it at launch, kept putting it off and still haven’t got around to it.
I started it. I think I died after like an hour of play...or maybe it was my horse that died. Anyway, I was out in the middle of nowhere and it was taking me forever to get back to where it was I needed to go cuz I had no horse, and I was being killed left and right. I said f*** this, game DELETED.
Same. Haven't played this yet. Or if I could snag a PS4 copy for $9.99 or lower.
My complaints with this game can be summed up with stuff like this.
Was playing this weekend and come across a side mission. Basically, someone was doing something really bad. So, I go in and rescue people from the bad person doing bad things, without hurting the bad person. They flee and leave their cash register right there, so you know, how about a little something for the effort? I instantly get a negative reputation. Not that you can't counter it easily, but that's the moral framework that just irritates me. Even stealing from someone doing something very bad is bad.
You can do the most horrible things as long as it follows a story mission, but otherwise, you better be on your best behavior.
Not to mention "walk with me" missions. Missions where you literally hold down "W" on the keyboard for a lengthy dialog. Like ok, I get it, the story is important, but why not just make it a cutscene?

Rockstar ditches "major" Red Dead Online updates to focus on GTA 6
Red Dead Online will not receive any more "major themed content updates" as Rockstar is now shifting its focus towards Grand Theft Auto 6.
RDR1s was fun but I think I only played about 2hrs of this.
Same with GTA, really enjoyed IVs MP but didn't get into Vs.

Game doesn't need MP or dlc, it's already packed with content and is a masterpiece that deserves a sequel and not some greedy seasonal mp s***e.
I'm so disappointed they didn't release a 60fps patch. Still, it's one of the greatest games of all time.
I bought it again on the Series X after putting over 100 hours into it on the Pro. I tried forcing myself to play through it again, but can't after playing so many open world games at 60fps now. It's a crime for this not to be updated for the new consoles.
