Looks like Resident Evil: Revelations 2 is a thing, according to information on xbox.com that includes a screenshot and the box art image (carrying the Japanese name, Biohazard). You can see them both below.
The Revelations spin-off series began life on Nintendo 3DS in 2012, earning plaudits for its defiantly old-school survival horror gameplay. It went down so well that an Xbox 360 and PS3 version of the game launched the following year.
In turn, the home console version sold comfortably over a million copies, so the appearance of a sequel perhaps shouldn’t be much of a surprise. For its part, Capcom is still not commenting on the leak, but it looks pretty nailed on doesn’t it?
Interestingly, the box art is for the Xbox 360 version of the game, suggesting that it’s headed to PS3 too. But will it come to the new consoles? We’ll have to wait for the official announcement.
Did you play Revelations? Are you glad to see a sequel? Or would you rather Capcom focused on Resident Evil 7? Let us know below.
