Rich People are Dumb - The Titanic Submarine Story

I think a lot comes from the massive amounts of media attention certain stories get.
Some go a little too far but I can't say I feel sorry for them. Everything about it screams deathtrap and I see it as rich people thinking themselves untouchable.

Don't know how any sane person would want to do it.
The only reason they could even try this was because they were rich so the money did indirectly contribute to their deaths.

It's sad, they may (or may not) have been good people and that one guy took his son so their family lost two people they loved but damn it was just a stupid thing to do to begin with especially in something that sounded so cheaply made to begin with.

Give it a day and conspiracy theories will surface.

People are already stuck on the "banging" that was reported, which obviously was something else.

The navy actually heard an implosion sound right when and where the thing disappeared, but of course they still treat it as a search and rescue until the facts are in, but they knew they weren't going to find anyone.

That one dude paid $500K to die a horrible death along with his son.

Right. Death by implosion has to be one of the worst ways to die. And no, it’s not a particularly fast process either. When the pressure was failing their eyes, ears, nose, mouth and ass would have been gushing blood before the final crush. Their brain would be compressing, also ejecting any fluid it could.

Nasty stuff.

According to reports it would have been pretty much instant. They might not have even had a warning something was wrong.

Bodies turned to dust in seconds said one report.

I saw on CNN it would be like 1 or 2 milliseconds. They would have no clue.

If they were going to have to die on this trip that was by far the best option, can you imagine sitting down there for days just waiting to run out of air? that sounds like hell.

Have a read of the pressure experiments done by unit 731 (Japanese science division) during World War Two. It did not seem as fast as that.
