Rodea the Sky Soldier, formerly a Wii and 3DS title, is now coming to Wii U and 3DS in spring 2015, the latest issue of Famitsu reveals.


The Prope-developed, Kadokawa-published action game features free 360-degree movement throughout the skies and colossal-size boss battles. It puts players in the role of Rodea, a machine soldier who lost his memory and is discovered and reactivated by Ion. Both characters, as well as a mysterious girl named Cecilia, appear in Famitsu.

The game is produced by Kadokawa Games’ Yoshimi Yasuda and directed by Kadokawa’s Zin Hasegawa, who was formerly the producer. Development is 85 percent complete.

From the scans it looks like the visuals were updated pretty nicely.

I haven't ever heard of the game. But it looks interesting.

I really do hope they will humour us with a Western Release, as I personally really enjoy the art style and theme.
 
Looks neat, but it is to be released exclusively in Japan, I am sure. And with the Wii U being a region-locked console, we may never see this game.
