Miners and scalpers can go to hell. I want that 3080 Ti if it's the last thing I do. I want this 2070 Super out of my rig like yesterday. The other day I was desperate. I was close to buying a 3080 for $1,350 off some guy on Offerup/Letgo. Then I slapped myself and came back to reality. A 3080 for $1350! Then I saw a 3070 for sale at nearly the same price. Like wtf are these guys thinking?

Even though I already have a 3090....I'd gladly attend a no-holds barred street brawl with you my PC brethren to combat the scalpers and miners that have infected the PC hardware space.

I got my RTX FTW3 3090 for ~$1800 MSRP...which I was lucky because that is the actual MSRP for that card. That same card is now going for around $3200 USD as of right now on ebay. I've thought about selling it but I need it for work/play.

However.....the most ridiculous thing I've seen is this mad lad who is selling his FTW3 Ultra 3090 for $7,555.00 USD.

Just absolutely sickening TBH. :mad:

That can't be right. I'd rather spend my money on a 3090 if that's the case.

You are right. 3080 for me it is. I almost nabbed one the other day on the bestbuy website, but I was at work trying to order on my phone before selling out. Had the 3080 FTW3 evga in my cart too. I've been using this site for alerts. Seems like Bestbuy has drops on Thursday mornings around 7:30am.

Love my $500 canadian 1070ti.

The graphics card world is just insane, I thought it was insane back then and yet it's just gotten crazier and crazier.

Oh well.

I will live vicariously through you and can't wait to hear about your 3080ti if you can nab one.

I have a 2070 Super OCed close to the performance of a 2080 super. The 3080 runs circles around those cards. If I had a 2080 Ti I'd rather wait for the next generation of GPUs beyond the RTX 3000 series.

Ah ok but still not a big enough jump imo.
If you got the funds and will also get a 4000 series I don't see the harm.

Looks like my 2080ti and I will be buddies for quite a bit longer.
 
Gamers Nexus, Linus Tech Tips, Hardware unboxed, all ripped NVidia on 3080 Ti pricing, it would make more sense for it to be 999.99

~8% faster over 3080 at 4K and even less at 1440p.

"Don't buy a 3080 ti. It's not bad, in the objective sense, but it's a terrible price and it's offensive that nvidia would try to sell this for this money."

My local best buy is supposed to have a few on sale tomorrow. While I'd like one, I can't support this scummy money grab practice, IMO.

I have elite membership with Evga, so we get 24 hour access to buy the 3080ti before the general consumer can purchase. I also have a 25% discount. I might just get it. I can always sell my 2070 super on Letgo and someone e will buy it without a doubt for a reasonable price.

Update: My Bestbuy has people camping out as of 10 PM EST. We had 2 shootings near that area over the 3 day weekend. I really hope that there is some type of security out there over night or else, this could really turn into ski mask way real quick.
