Wasn't it the developers of Witcher 3 that said Xbox One was easier to code for than the PS4? :txbconfused:

Agreed...but I wouldn't use that to lol at consoles.

I agree with this but why even state that the game at 1080p w/ 8xMSAA beats up a 780 Ti when neither console will be running at 1080p or MSAA of any kind?

Easier to code will not make inferior GPU faster i guess people have hard time getting the facts right the Xbox One just runs out of horse power to render it higher res, there is no secret here or there is no secret sauce that will make hardware faster.

Just look at the PC side people are spending 100's of dollars for 10-20% improvement in FPS its all in GPU power which unfortunately XBOX lacks heavily.

I personally moved from SLi 680GTX to SLi Titans to get around 30-40% more FPS for insane amount of money was it worth it? To me yes. Fact is PS4 has faster GPU and it will be faster forever....

Why do these resolution topics have to come up for every single release. God, make it stop. Get over it. lol.

It's not about informing people, there's been like 10 topics like this so far & it always just turns into a bunch of PS4 vs. Xbox One resolutoin debate that goes nowhere every single time. I don't know why this always needs to be brought up with every single release.

Well, there wouldn't be a resolution debate if people just accepted the resolutions of the game for each platform as is. It only gets into a debate when people take it too personal.

I'm not that fussed with the resolution, The Witcher 2 looked great on my 360. I am disappointed my shiny new PS4 will only be targeting 'Low' graphical detail from the PC. I don't expect parity but it'd be nice to target medium.

The game is a long way off though. I don't suppose this resolution/detail level stuff is set in stone for either console yet, there is optimisation to be done. It's not due for the best part of a year.

The Witcher 3 dev comments on 900p/720p PS4, Xbox One resolution speculation -- "It's just a rumor"
CD Projekt Red says "as soon as we will be ready to announce Spec we will let you know."

Nuff said.

It seems to be a hot topic issue in the gaming media right now. So it kind of naturally fans the flames.

This thread has taken a toll on you. You must be relieved.

People attempting to create drama where there is none by pitting system resolutions against each other via unsubstantiated rumor is the only thing that wears on me, because its all so meaningless. That, and there's like 15 threads a day about the same damn thing.

Don't worry about the Witcher 3 on the Xbox One. It'll be the go to version since the 360 had the last game.

There is only like 2, a far cry from 15.

Beside, you can choose to ignore the threads. You can still play Witcher 3 on your system of choice.
Its really not that hard. Just saying.

If you think the thread is meaningless, you can choose not to read/reply. If you think the thread is not appropriate, you can report to mods, to have it locked or removed (if they share the same opinion).

So I take it you have no sarcasm meter?
You meant exaggeration meter?

I am just saying, we should chill out a bit. Have a beer, or your beverage of choice or something. Anyway, its rumor as you have mention. Even if true, haven't we kinda expected it somewhat.

Anyway, I expect this thread to be locked soon, as its rumors.

The more informed people are, the better.

I don't get why it has to bother you?

If these threads are to keep people informed, then why aren't people creating these threads for every single game that comes out? Whether they start innocently or not, these versus-style resolution threads have a gone-to-s***-within-a-few-pages rating that is impeccable on ANY forum at the moment.

A "Console Game Resolution Database"-thread with new releases highlighted would do well to actually keep people informed and make a lot more sense IMO.

/2cents.

well lets me real the same people come in all the threads and bitch up a blue moon. Any point to the thread I've no idea the PS4 lovers can talk up PS4 some while the One lovers can cry up a storm and try and say none of it matters where is the shoe was on the other foot it would matter I great deal.

I don't know because it'd be hard to keep updating the same thread since you lose the privilege to edit the OP after a certain period of time. That's what happened to me. So you'd have to ask the mod everytime to edit the first post, which can get quite annoying.

The game is still a ways off, just u wait once they start using Dx12, tiled resources and the cloud to calculate the physics and lighting the xbox one will be 1080p no problem :p

I'm sure which ever console u choose to buy this game its going to look amazing.

Actually the PC version will be the go to version as it hosts all 3 witcher games. And we'll have the option to run it at better and at a higher fidelity.

So while all the consolers wait for CD Projekt to announce the sub 1080p news, WE the PC USERS will define what resolution and fidelity we run it at.

Choice > no choice.
