Game is great now. If released with all of these updates from the start, it would've been a strong 9/10 imo. Great co-op game.

When you play Monkey Island, does it go into a single-player state? Meaning you won't encounter others as you do the story?

I'm kind of interested in playing the story, but don't want any of the MP shenanigans.

You talk to a character on the beach selling boat tours, and she has the quest there. If you choose Monkey Island, you should spawn on the same island as this NPC. Once you accept the quest, you get on your boat and sail to a green portal just across the island. It was right behind the NPC for me.

I played it with the waifu and friends and couldn't get into it. After almost 2 hours, we just stopped.

Maybe find some who are into it? Reading that back mashes it sounds weird anyway, dono how it works on PC but on Xbox you can search for groups and filter out the type of players and such to find groups who vive with it

Enjoyed the Monkey Island updates so much, I never really bothered with the tall tales, but I think I'll be doing them more often now.
