SEGA Dreamcast (Mini?)

This

I have my DC connected via hdmi and considering replacing the disc drive with sd-slot, but if this mini becomes reality and comes with wireless controllers...I might considering it instead, there's no wireless DC controllers atm I'm afraid.
You should just get an Nvidia Shield TV instead of doing all that work.

Nah,I actually have a rpi4 with retropie that runs dreamcast games pretty much flawlessly now on my made arcade1up, but it's not the same thing.
Just the look of the console gives more nostalgia than playing on a emulationstation (even though that's a given too with a mini version).

Also, I'm honestly thinking that the biggest reason they haven't just slammed together a rpi4 with a mini DC case and one of the striker DC controllers and call it a day is the somewhat problematic integration of the VMU that they'll have to put some serious thought into before releasing it. I mean, DC emulation isn't really that hard today and even an overclocked rpi3b can handle it fairly well with Reicast with some nips and tucks.

This was the last system I was truly excited for before it released. I bought over 50 games in its first year. Multiple memory cards. Steering wheel. Fishing controller. Both sets of light guns. The Seaman game and microphone. The console had a huge variety in games which the current gen consoles don't have...plus the games were FUN. I sold everything I have except for the bulky racing wheel which costs more to ship than its worth. I still play several of the games on the Nvidia Shield every so often.

I'd be all over a DC retro console if they made it happen.
