Got it for free with the Games for Gold deal on the 360 and I finally got around to playing it. So far so good. It's an enjoyable enough game. I'm enjoying the missions, sidequests have been fun, and it's a cool open world overall. Love the environmental kills. My favorite part of the game so far. Very early on though.
 
I got this dirt cheap on steam, need to install it and give it a whirl.
 
Fantastic game. I really enjoyed it, biggest let down is the driving, it sucks balls. Is a shame the fighting didn't have more to it though in terms of skills and depth.

I like the driving so far. Feels more responsive than most other open world games I feel. Like GTAIV, which has it's own physics. Not to say it's perfect or anything, but I haven't been disappointed by it is what I'm getting at. It's more the rules involved with driving. When you're trying escape cops, it can be tough to avoid property and people because I'm trying to get creative here, like it's a movie. Also, I did get stuck in alley with a bus, but that's only because I cornered an enemy bus and had to ram it enough that the people riding it will want to go on my deathtrap of a bus.

Yes, I really enjoyed the melee combat in SD, works really good for 3rd person viewpoint, has shades of the Batman Arkham games to it.

Great game overall I thought, got it free on XBL too, last game I played on the 360 before I jumped to the XB1. Glad I didn't miss it.
 
The melee is alright. The responsiveness isn't what it could be at times, but still good. I'm liking the missions in this game. Hacking cameras, picking locks, planting bugs, hijacking vehicles, etc. Very fun. Although I tried hikacing a truck and I had to wait until it crashed to get it. The hijacking just wasn't working and the graphics for how to do it was being shown and everything. Fun missions though and I do enjoy changing the clothes on my character pretty frequently. Lots of cool options to get.
 
It's a fun game. There are some good parts to it. The city is detailed. Fighting is very fun and the unlocks keep it fresh. The second half gets a bit boring, the map is lacking and the vehicles handle like they're on training wheels.
 
Ok, deeper into the game now. Tiffany was cheating on Wei, but I had no idea they were in a relationship. They sang a couple of times at a karaoke bar and the characters flirted with each other. I don't even know if Wei is in a relationship with Not Ping or Amanda. Very strange.

Also, it had to put in button context because I had no clue on how to pick up weapons. I died two times on one drug bust in the sewer access. The game isn't very clear at all at times.
 
good start to a new franchise, I hope the sequel expands on what it did best (story, fighting, authentic atmosphere) and cleans up some of the issues such as mouse control and driving responsiveness. Also needs more "meat" to it, alternate activities etc. But it could eventually be the equivalent of a GTA in an Asian setting, and I think there is a lot of interest in that (as shown in better than expected sales).
 
Finished it. Lovely game, very satisfying ending. Every game should end with somebody being thrown into a grinder of some sort. I'll probably say a little more on it later, but I do want to know if anybody tried out the SD DLC.

I am curious about the DLC too, SD was the last 360 game I played before I jumped to the XB1. If its really good I'd snag it to play, really enjoyed SD.
