Just have a question for you all, are you a game hoarder or are you very selective about what you buy?
I wanted to ask this after realizing that I have a very weird problem...I have too many games! It honestly bothers me a bit. I was always somebody that was more selective about what I purchased, but a year or two ago something changed...I started focusing on buying games when they were cheap. So over the course of that time, I bought a ton of games that ranged anywhere from $3 to $10. Seemed like a win/win at the time.
However, now that I'm going to get an Xbox One, I thought I would start trying to make my way through my now considerable backlog and that led me to have a realization: I would rather play a game that I love for the third time than play through a mediocre game once!
It happened as I was trying to make my through Remember Me. I'm kind of enjoying myself, it's not bad but not great. I am looking forward to getting to the next game I play through though. Then I decided to take a break and go through the last couple missions of Black Flag, and boy is that game a blast to play! The stealth, the action, the graphics....all superb. Then it hit me that I have a lot of these mediocre games, and I'm not sure I want to take the time to go through them all. Problem is, they all trade in for like 25 cents lol, so I'm kind of stuck with them.
Lesson learned though because next generation I'm going back to being a picky gamer for sure. What is your philosophy on buying games?
