Sony Pictures Looks To PlayStation Integrations, No Plans To Change Theatre, Streaming Windows
Big-budget films need a specific theatrical exclusive showing to make money, and as other studios look to more concurrent streaming/theatrical releases, scheduling of Sony Pictures movies next year will be easier in theaters, says Sony Pictures CEO Tony Vinciquerra.

Going forward, he believes there will be much more integration of Sony Corp.'s other entertainment products, including from its video-gaming system PlayStation.
“We have no specific plan yet,” he says. “But we have a program within the company called One Sony... You’ll be seeing a lot more integration of Sony companies together.”
Vinciquerra says Sony is developing three movies and seven TV shows from its PlayStation video-game content.
