Actually most of them care, that's why people switched to the PS4 from previous 360 owners. They wanted the better version of multiplatform games for current gen. Last time I checked, in general, multiplatform games continue to sell better on the PS4.

Sounds like 8M to me, or else why say "about". So is 7.9M close enough? But nice grasping at straws consolewarz. Typically, people's UVG name can be anything from fun to abstract. Mine goes back to my days playing Intellivision with friends and brothers. But hey, every once in a while a person's ID name is indicative of their intent. Poor choice of user name "consolewarz".

Hey guys, I think people are missing out on the fact that there are more PS4s in the public than Xbox Ones, so games are going to sell more on PS4. I mean, no s***, right? That they happen to look slightly better absolutely matters to some kernel of the core gaming populace, but no one honestly gives a crap, like how most multi-platform games ran and sold better on 360 despite the PS3 being a slightly more powerful machine. Guess what? 360 outsold PS3. Derp.

Yes and how did this more PS4 in the public came to be? Price and better hardware from the get-go. Yes exactly, 360 outsold PS3 in the beginning because of price and better multiplatform. This gen, PS4 has better price, multiplatform and more powerful hardware. It's not rocket science really.

That's the reality of the situation right now. PS4 got the hotter start because of the $100 price difference, better hardware specs and to an extent, MS's E3 2013 where they pissed off a lot of gamers.

so is this why COD always sold slightly less on the PS3 than the competition in the states? if so, then i guess the game being better was never really the reason then like some would have you believe. hmm...interesting. so it was just numbers all alone then.

but do you know what's crazy? the gap in the states was at least a 20 million lead. so to only be slightly better with a lead that great is a bit telling, wouldn't you agree?

360 hasn't sold 20M more over PS3 in the US. And CoD sales on 360 were not "slightly better" unless you consider the 360 game selling about 50% more "slightly better".

Microsoft currently around 40 million in north america and Sony around 20 and this wasnt too long ago. under a year, in fact.

No one has attacked him for his opinion though. He doesn't need to get out at all. I can respect that post of his.

Dno, that was kind of a flamebait post. You're trying to attract someone to argue about this when there is nothing to make out of it in the beginning.

It was sarcasm. And you did kind of attack his opinion. It's like, "you mean you don't like all these games that I like?"

JinCa had a low opinion of Microsoft's games that I find interesting. But I didn't make a list of all the games and then question his opinion.

There are trolls in here. But not everyone with a different opinion is one.

I didn't. He said that all of Sony's best games were multiplatforms so I gave him a list of exclusives and asked if he was interested in any of them. I genuinely asked "none of these games interest you?" I wasn't trying to talk down in a condescending way at all.

After he responded, I didn't chase after him and try to force my opinion onto him.

The difference is Jinca named and explained which titles he liked and why.

It came across as a little condescending. Like questioning his sincerity.
Maybe I'm just too used to seeing that type of thing on here.

But if you were genuinely asking then it's cool and I apologize.
