It is PS Now vs a full PC release, though, so the pitchforks are even less necessary.

xbox exclusives can be played on PC, ps4 exclusives can be played on PC.
PC best gaming platform. End of discussion.
Most people know that already. I’m posting these things because this is about the money side of this. MS is obviously very PC friendly, and people doubted Sony would go this route. But at the end of the day money talks, and I’m sure they will be bringing more exclusives to PC eventually. This is just proof of that.

Sony hasn't went this route though.
Spiderman isn't the full featured version.
HZD is old and a easy Decima engine port.

Money talks and Sony sure knows how to sell games and consoles.

Proof?

I too am glad Sony decided to go multiplatform. Many were surprised by them announcing that.

I said it might take awhile, and they won’t announce much of it for new games, especially with the PS 5 coming.

But let’s revisit this thread in about a year.

Anyone can guess old games are coming and if they do this is no sign of PS5 exclusives coming.
Anyone can pull predictions out they ass and say it might take awhile.

Per what SONY said.... MAYBE multiplayer based exclusives could go to the PC.

What would happen a year from now? More older PS4 games coming rumors? lol

I dont know. I think Sony may opt to bring new releases to PC much sooner after all this madness is over. Given the state of the economy, people will become much more conservative with their money. Sony will probably need to open the floodgates to PC much sooner to give their 1st party more support on sales. I could be wrong though..

I can see them doing it after a year or at least after any DLC expansions are done on the PS5 but I still think they'll keep new releases exclusive to the console for a good amount of time, they've already said they aren't going to go to PC day one. The issue with putting them out on PC is those people aren't really part of the PlayStation ecosystem, they aren't subscribed to PSN and they'll pretty much only be in for the price of a couple of games during the year.

I get where you are coming from with the economy, hopefully this mess gets worked out sooner rather than later and people can get back to work (hopefully they'll have jobs to go back to) of course a lot of that will also depend on how governments handled this recession around the world, many seem to be doing a very good job, ours? not so much.

The more people that can play a game, the better for everyone.
I think that's true to an extent, a console still needs exclusives to give you a reason to buy into their ecosystem otherwise they screw themselves. It's fine releasing a game later, they had to upgrade Decima anyway for the PS5 so why not put that work to use and make a version of a 3 year old game available for the PC? hopefully the PS4 version gets a PS5 patch as well. Releasing HZD on PC isn't going to hurt Sony in any way, it's pretty much sold all of the copies it's going to sell on a console at this point so it's not digging into potential sales plus with a sequel likely coming out in the next year or two it may entice some PC players to pick up a console if they don't want to wait for the sequel to potentially come to PC later.
