I was actually hoping for a Last of Us sequel. Even though Uncharted was my favorite series of this generation.
So I didn't watch this but judging from the comments, is it fair to say that Kojima's proclamation of something that would "blow your mind' might have been exaggerated and there wasn't anything that even gave your mind a handjob? It's still good that Infamous' release date is set and is first quarter, and more Uncharted is certainly nice for PS fans, but I was kind of expecting to hear something more significant. But in any case, now that it's past midnight, hopefully all of you folks getting the PS4 get a machine that works (and hopefully those early failures are very limited) and enjoy the hell out of it.
Dude...they could just slap a paint job on LoU and put it on the PS4 and that would be cool.
Hooked up my laptop at work, so I could see most of it.
Missed the part I liked best, came in just after they announced a new Uncharted announcement - that's pretty sweet.
Eyetracking camera were - I guess that's probably what Hideo tought were mindblowing. :-/
No way they can get lenses powerfull enough, to make it to replace right-stick, in a living-room enviroment, unless it's some kind of 10000+ dollar camera.
First access to Playstation 3 and 4, on Destiny.
A indie game called Towerfall..
MGS:5 deja-vu mission were you play as Classic snake.
That's the stuff?

New Infamous trailer (which looked fantastic), and they announced the release date too.

Anyways, I'm tired of the typical corporate 'big announcement' thing, and then it's just something minor. Getting Destiny first is cool, but since they put out some potential hype ahead of time, it has less of an impact.
But wait, I can play as classic, blocky Snake?

Okay, so I was really hoping to get a glimpse of a title that would make me run out and get the PS4, but was let down. Im not really into Uncharted and was REALLY hoping for something new from ND. I guess I will just keep waiting because I am sure it will come.
As for the Eye tracking, its the same technology used in special needs equipment (I help program and diagnose problems with this stuff for a living). It is EXACTLY the same software and hardware. WITH THAT SAID... it is REALLY REALLY REALLY buggy. Sorry, not to be a killjoy, but the eye tracking stuff is (at least as for my field of expertise) very hard to calibrate and is NOT very accurate. Its primary use is for those in wheelchairs that dont have lower body movement, and therefore uses their eyes to navigate a Dynavox/computer, but I absolutely hate it. One day I was trying to calibrate one for a new client and while I was in the process of doing it, the mouse/cursor just kept bouncing all over the place. I finally calibrated it to my eyes and I could not even control it.
Needless to say, this is tech that im not interested in. Maybe if they can get it perfected, but I feel its a long ways off and kinda stupid.

I guess they kinda confirmed they're working on The Last Gaurdian PS4. Theres that.
I was fully expecting an Epic Games game, after Rein posting a countdown and then Sony hinting at an 'Epic' announcement. I almost feel like they forgot to announce stuff.
