I don't know if you're referring to what I said but saying it's s*** is hardly backlash, just calling it how I see it, Jabba is probably the most recognizable character from what we've seen so far, they know what they're doing. Similar crap to Sony making the best quest in hogwarts exclusive for a year.

All started by s***ty social media, driven by the moronic Youtube crowd, and glorified by gaming "journalist."
Maybe it's a combination of things such as being a star wars game (rabid fanbase) being a ubisoft game (people love to hate) and recent news about revoking the crew license seems to have blown up and created more backlash then expected.
But you're right that this will easily be the years biggest selling game, the whinging gamers (like me) will always be a minority at the end of the day.
It is just stupidity.
Don't get me wrong, I am not a fan of locking a mission behind something. I don't like this paying for early access. I don't like selling DLC before it shown & detailed, etc. But I complained about this stuff when it started happening and was just labelled a negative nancy.
It is too late complaining about it now.
I think it depends on how old we were, I had the bowl cut in the late 70's very early 80's then the bud bundy style mullet in the mid/late 80's before cutting it shorter my senior year.
Put some makeup on they/them, make it black and intersexual and people will throw their money on them I'm sure.
Why not just subscribe to Ubi+ and get it 3 days early for like $15.
When GTA6 has content locked behind a paywall I bet all these talking heads and gaming sites will be up in arms all over the internet… yeah right.
