I could see the latter. I doubt you will see it on PS5 in 2025 - maybe 2026.

Directors cut remake at the tail end before the release of the ps6, once it does release it’ll be a remastered remake with dlc bundle to make up for the price increase
Don't forget the 1fps advantage for the ultimate console.
Hypothetical timeline:
- These four games release over the next 6 months. It takes another 6 months to gauge how well they have performed, so at that point you're into early 2025 when you make the go/no go decision on the next round of games.
- I doubt there are PS5 versions of Starfield ready to go, so even if they decide to move forward with Starfield you're probably looking at late 2025-early 2026 for PS5 Starfield., even if they have the port started I'm not sure how powerful the next Switch is, but they might want to hold out until they can put it on there too.
So assuming they decide to move forward with the next batch of games and assuming Starfield is one of them, my guess is that it is still almost two years out at the very earliest.

I'm a couple of hours into this game and it's truly boring. Just on some fetch quest to find some dude. The characters are ugly and uninteresting.
Constellation is a collection of self-righteous, uptight nerds. I hated pretty much everyone in the entire game aside from Sam Coe. He's a pansy wannabe-cowboy, but I enjoyed him nonetheless.
You will have an opportunity to kill one of them off. It's one of the most fulfilling events of the game lol
