Well that's new. Sony is locking the demo of anyone who downloaded it before they took it down. Of what I did play, its a very pretty fan service-y beat-em up. Imagine if Bayonetta had better graphics and some how more stereo-typically sexualized. Oozes with style, I'll give it that. Music is surprisingly relaxing. If any of that is your bag, you should be entertained. There's not enough here for me to get this Day 1 but maybe down the line.
Yeah my demo is still installed but now there is a lock icon under the game tile. At least I played and beat the two levels already and went right back to Rebirth.

I'm pretty interested in the game but will wait to see if I 100% complete Rebirth by that time before getting as I have to choose between Rise of the Ronin, Dragon's Dogma 2 and Stellar Blade. The first quarter has been crazy packed and Stellar Blade starts Q2.
Still have a backlog from PS plus too...

I was hyped for this but more recent vids show the world to be dead and empty. That was not good in games like Scarlett Nexus.
Not really. Just devs tried to make girls look uglier than the model they used to be more realistic but this dev wanted none of that crap and decided to go with the most beautiful character he could make with the model they used lol. Nothing wrong with appreciating that.
Well in this case, there’s kinda a lack of things to said appearance. It’s more like just a swimsuit. The girls in DOA volleyball had more details and um accessories. 2b and tifa in her swimsuit has more style and creativeness put into it.
But her body/attire and face don’t seem to be in the same page. Ones all anime the rest is a recreation of someone that exist.

I'm sure the director is happy lots of people are praising and appreciating their design.
It's lame. 20 years ago games got rightly called out for this but now its suddenly a selling point?

Meh , different strokes for different folks. Too many complaints about games these days than appreciating the works. If you like the design and character , I'm all for shouting out that love wherever you want.
IMO there's a way to make characters appealing and beautiful without being blatantly over the top. This game is not that game. But the game knows its demographic and it shows up in the comments. Ce la vie. Again, from the demo there's not enough game-play wise to warrant a day one purchase for me but more power to those that want it.
Why was it right.
We live in age where woman all up and down the sociatal spectrum sexulize themselves for money or fame or attention. Actresses doing nude/sex scenes, streamers, Tik Tokers, Only Fans, Instagram, You tube, etc.
But a fake digital woman dressed provocatively is an issue.

There is 2 foreign words that I realised many do not know the meaning.
The first is the word lie/lying, liar. It was shocking to know how many people do not know what is a lie.
I know this as I am often accused of being a liar simply by being (maybe) wrong. After a while, I realised they cannot tell the difference between being wrong and lying.
Just because you said something not true, or wrong, is not neccessery lying. Lying required intend to deceive. There is a big difference!
The 2nd foreign word is sexist. I seen it being used wrongly by some many people. Apparently, you can be a "journalist" at Kotaku and not know what sexist mean.
Sexist, or the more fancy word misogynist, is someone who think less of women (less capable), or prejudice against them, or think they should be retraint to certain roles.
A woman dress seductively is NOT sexist. Its sexy, or sexualised for sure, but not sexist, Different meaning.
Liking women in sexy outfit, liking pretty women, like big boobs or booty is NOT sexist. YOu can be regarded as horny, dirty, but being sexist is not the same thing.
Because someone like big booty, doesn't mean he think lesser of woman.
