I was hoping for a new 3D Mario game. Mario 64 remake specifically. But this looks good.

Playing the game now with my wife and son. This is very much GOTY material. I thought it was hyperbole when certain critics said its the best 2D Mario since Super Mario World. Its not hyperbole.

Have only played a handful of levels as I'm trying to finish Phantom Liberty so I can get to Alan Wake 2, but so far it's really fun. Love the art style and music.
