Alright so my thoughts on someone that watched BvS and thought it was ok, but haven't seen anything else DC since then... this looks awesome. A dark ass Batman movie with him being an actual detective, and completely beating the s*** out of thugs.
Looks different enough.
I'm not sold on that suit though... not sure if it's the cowl or him being that thin. But movie looks pretty badass no doubt.
he does look a bit slimmer than what we may a custom to, but maybe this take place early on his dark knight career or maybe because he’ll be fighting more than using his gadgets, like using more martial arts
Yeah, possible. I didn't like how slim they made Bale's batman in the last movie either, he looked like a ninja (which I guess is logical). I much prefer the big muscular Frank Miller version than this, Affleck's in BvS was perfect imo.

Speaking of, is it me, or are there a sh!t-ton of coincidences with Hollywood names around superheroes? Marc Webb directed "The Amazing Spider-Man"? George Reeves plays Superman in the 50s, then Christopher Reeve in the 80s, and now Matt Reeves is directing "The Batman". WTF up wit dat?
Just not digging this actor. Think he would be a great Joker or Robin, even maybe daredevil but not batman.

i wanna agree with you to a certain extent, he’s the best or closest that resembles the animated movie or comic. But I guess Bale’s version means more to me because the history and investment I always have with the trilogy.
This new one is definitely different, more like the crow meets Batman. But I guess they’re all canon now once the new Flash movie is released.

I liked Batfleck, i'm glad he's back for flash and since DC is playing with the multiverse hopefully he'll be back for some of the projects.

Oh I know, but afleck was on and off and on again about doing/writing/directing his own but I haven’t followed up on it recently
No matter what you thought of Bat vs Supe Affleck was a great Bruce/Batman.
