I watched this a couple weeks ago live, when it popped up on my YouTube feed. VERY cool, but did they stupidly miss the chance to show off the new one, or did I just miss that part?
I'm actually tied with the Keaton one and the 60s one. I grew up with the TV show reruns, and had no idea that it was kind of a parody. The 60s movie ver. of that show is actually much sillier than the show. The Batmobile was always my favorite part of the show.
The Tumbler is pretty darn close, up next. Right after is the Arkam games Batmobile.
All I could think of after watching that video with the Joel Schumacher era stories on the Batmobile was: we went with an HR Geiger, organic inspiration, then after we decided to give Batman nipples, we figured that we weren't done f@cking up Batman enough, so we put neon inside the engine compartment and on the rims for absolutely no reason at all.
Yepp, grew up with the show too, my 4 year older sister had to translate the episodes on the fly as I was too young to read the subs and didn't speak English. The "KAPOW!"s and the car were highlights no doubt.
