Three men in Grand Rapids, Mich., worked together to detain a purse-snatching suspect until police could arrive to make an arrest. The men pinned the suspect on the ground following an intense struggle while good Samaritans comforted the victim.

Yeah, that was supposed to be the surprise. That it was a woman. They made a big deal about these guys, like they were heroes, for subduing a small woman and punching her in the face when she became unruly.

Yes, to that particular vicitim. Had that been a more presentable looking woman they would have jumped all over him for punching her in the face.

SMH, lol. If she looked like Kate Upton and that guy punched her they would have performed a citizens arrest on him when he punched her.

It's also a pretty innate reaction by someone being bit to hit whatever is biting them in the face, so I'm pretty amused by how stoic ya'll seem to think you'd be in that situation.. you're so intent on playing the race card (which is just sickening)

I can't help but assume you don't realize how dangerous biting someone is (from a transmission of disease standpoint)

Has nothing to do with chivalry. Has to do with the fact that in many cases you would be detained and or attacked yourself for punching a woman in the face regardless of the situation.

It's definitely dangerous to get bitten, but like I said he couldn't get away with that if it were a better looking woman. The backlash would have been much bigger had that been a beautiful blonde.
