Series X and PS5 versions are basically identical in 60 FPS mode per DF. It's only an issue on Series X in 30 FPS mode.
Wow so strange that everything runs on ps5 with no issue but pc and xbox runs like sh/t?

Feels like a $30 or $40 type of game based on reviews. I'm disappointed at the lack of exploration more than anything.
No, there's no raytracing shadows in the XS consoles right now.
Maybe in a patch they will fix it.
I love how some people online are pretending that the devs deliberately messed up the xbox version of the game, some people think everything is console wars lol. The devs clearly should have delayed the game and gotten everything right and probably should have done a little more work when it comes to bugs and some other design choices as well, at least going by some of the clips I've seen. They wouldn't try to hurt one of their products though, that just costs them money so it makes no sense to think that way.
Exactly, "Sony bought Ragnarok GOTY" conspiracy etc etc, seems like everything is a pay 2 win these days according to Xbox fans.
How about a more common sense way of thinking like releasing on many platforms at once decreases the quality of optimization for games?
We already know this: the more platforms you release at once, the more time and resources the devs need to optimize, ones they don't have so they release it first and patch after.

I am not keeping my hopes up. I'll get the game at a good discount later down the road. I guess we will have to see how Deadspace Remake turns out.
In motion, I don't doubt it. Series X / PS5 basically been trading blows since launch and without these analysis, you wouldn't be able to tell which one's which.
It's been getting delayed all day. Now it's 7:00pm PST for patch release. I think they should just delay it until Monday or Tuesday. Quit beating around the bush and fix the damn game.

There is also no raytracing in the 60 FPS mode on the PS5. Per Eurogamer:
"Furthermore, the performance mode is visually equivalent so if you were planning to enjoy the game at 60 frames per second, this won't be an issue."
I’ve posted some. I think I may be the only one on here actually playing the game lol. Bottom line for me it’s great. It looks amazing and the combat is brutal and satisfying. The main issue may be the length, I think it’s going to end up being 10-12 hours for me.
Ok went from thinking the HDR wasn't working to being throughly impressed with it.
Games visuals are top notch and the atmosphere is on point.
