A supporter of far-right activist Tommy Robinson has posted a Twitter picture she claims shows his fans marching at a Pro-Trump rally in London yesterday - but actually shows an event in Cairo back in 2011.
Thousands of people have pointed out the error after Rebbecca Robertson - who describes herself as an 'online political activist' - posted the photo on Twitter, leading her to be relentlessly mocked online.
Many have pointed out it was actually taken in Tahir Square in the Egyptian capital back in 2011.
Alongside the image, she claimed: "This was the Tommy Robinson and Pro-Trump Rally today in London 14th July 2018.
"The crowd is bigger than the Anti-Trump protest held yesterday. The mainstream media won't talk about it."
In reality
it is thought that 2,000 people turned up to march at a Free Tommy march yesterday , calling for the jailed English Defence League founder to be freed.
That is a fraction of the numbers who joined anti-Trump rallies in London on Friday, with organisers claiming up to 250,000 took part.
