Russian Official Linked to Natalia Veselnitskaya, the Trump Tower Lawyer, Is Dead
A Russian official accused of directing the foreign operations of Natalia Veselnitskaya, the lawyer who met senior Trump campaign officials in 2016, has plummeted to his death in a helicopter crash.
Russian Deputy Attorney General Saak Albertovich Karapetyan was exposed in a Swiss court this year for a plot to enlist another nation’s law-enforcement official as a double-agent for the Kremlin.
Media reports in Russia say he died Wednesday night when his helicopter crashed into a forest during an unauthorized flight in the Kostroma region, northeast of Moscow.
Karapetyan was intimately familiar with some of the most notorious operations carried out under the orders of Vladimir Putin. He worked closely with Veselnitskaya as well as running some of Moscow’s most high-profile efforts to thwart international investigations into Russia’s alleged crimes.
It was Karapetyan who signed a letter from the Russian government refusing to help the U.S. in a civil case it was pursuing linked to the death of Sergei Magnitsky, a Russian lawyer who was trying to expose a $230 million fraud in Russia. Leaked emails have since shown that Veselnitskaya helped to draft the document sent with that letter.
That is just based on what seats are up for grabs. Most of the seats that can be flipped are ones already held by Democrats. They don't really have much room for error.
The House is completely different where the Democrats are absolutely going to gain seats its just a question of how many.
Don't take this out on the FBI. It's not their fault. They were prohibited from asking Ford and kavanaugh any questions. They were directed to not interview anything outside of that night. trump is trying to get democrats to scream "THE FBI IS CORRUPT." This is all part of the game. Can't let that happen.

It was the toilet paper thing, could be fake or real but either way it was funny lol.
Why would they ban that account? That doesn't make sense. What type of account was it? They kept alex jones on for years but suspend an account for that?

As did Flake and Collins. Murkowski voted no. Collins, of course, makes noise about supporting Roe v. Wade, but it's looking more and more like feces of male cows.
I haven't been following this but I assume he will vote yes if the swing republicans vote yes. I don't see him being a yes if its 50v50.
One TN seat will flip Blue. Bredesen was a good governor. Everyone but government employees liked him. He will beat republican Marsha Blacburn.
Rubio just said that the constitution should be held up to strict interpretation. Well, it explicitly states "Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of religion..." Right before that he went on a soliloquy about marriage rights. Well, the whole fight against same sex marriage is rooted in religious bias. Not so much looking at the constitution in a "strict" manner.
Everybody falling in line including the red state Dems. Hopefully they get voted out when their time comes. Either way just another dagger in the back of democracy.
As much as I would like for that to be the consequence them getting voted out really just means a Republican taking their place.
