man, I’m glad I have no desire to go into politics as I would have zero censor towards republicans. I would be calling them all traitors and calling for guillotines to be built on the White House lawn with pikes to be placed around the Washington mall to line with trump,his admin, and Republican politicians heads right in front of the Lincoln memorial. To top it off, I would place a sign saying finishing what Lincoln started.

I'll take "How can the Democrats blow this for $1000 Alex".

That's actually exactly what people need to hear, but if CNBC can't even spin it in a more positive way, we're screwed.

We need to not raise taxes on the middle class and even cut them more. You can raise taxes on the rich if you spin it correctly. I wouldn't call it a tax increase at all, but "closing loopholes".

We can't debate what the tax rate on the rich should be because with all the various loopholes, nobody knows what that actual number is. It varies greatly depending on how rich you are.

I don't think what he said as bad will have as bad of an effect as you think it will.
 
I'm not sure if both these guys really believe what they're saying for if this is propaganda and off camera light up over priced cigars and laugh at pathetic American wages.

You and I can read it and understand it, but the right wing will just misuse it and twist it. They will take a complex issue and turn it into "Biden raise taxes" and unfortunately people won't take the time to actually read the position.

Not to mention the Republicans are happy to keep cutting taxes and exploding spending and pretending like everything is fine.

Haven't watched it but yeah, but agreed, that's like literally his entire claim to fame at this point... being 'the guy that reversed as much Obama stuff as possible regardless of whether or not it was actually good/bad'.

What Democrats need to do is focus on how the GOP tax cuts screwed over the average person.

-Most of it went to the very wealthy (bring up the deduction for private planes - this should be memed all over facebook)
-The rich tax cuts are permanent, but the middle class cuts expire

You've got to sell the middle class on the idea that a Democrat President is better for them financially. Do the opposite of the Republicans, increase the middle class tax cuts and make it permanent while closing tax loopholes for the rich (which is essentially a tax increase, but you don't have to actually say tax increase).

You don't even have to "beat" Trump, you just have to shine a light on this nonsense that I bet the average American has no clue about.

They've got people convinced that low unemployment + good stock market = great for everyone!

Obviously lower unemployment is good overall, but that completely ignores things like wage growth (which they never want to talk about).

The reality is that the stock market can keep skyrocketing. My wages aren't keeping up with inflation plus the ever exploding costs of health care.

This year I was supposed to get a 1% (lol) raise, but even that is postponed because of the coronavirus. I mean, I've still got it better than most, but I had to find out that I'm missing out on 1%.

Republicans in my family look at me all confused when I tell them that I vote Democrat because it benefits me economically on top of a lot of other reasons.
