Oh thank f*** for that. I was about to lose all faith in humanity there.
They knew all of this, and mckaney knew she was in close proximity, without masks, with trump, hicks, the rest of them, and she STILL had the presser yesterday. Not only did she put everyone at risk yesterday, she also didn't mention it to the United States. Also, trump STILL went to a fundraiser.

Thoughts and prayers. I mean, I hope they recover, but I have much less empathy for someone who sticks his dick in a meat grinder complaining about how his dick got shredded than I would for a guy who had his dick shredded up in a car wreck.
It is hard to ignore the poetic justice to this, but nobody benefits from something bad happening to Trump.
If something were to happen:
1) The religious nuts would see him as a martyr
2) The Qanon nuts would have a field day with conspiracy
3) The rest of the GOP would get to put Pence forward in the ultimate slap and tickle. Pence would come in and look "normal" and swing the vote
We need Trump 100% healthy when we crush him in the election.

If Trump died it would have no impact on who wins. Pence has the charisma of a dead moth. GOP turnout would go down.
I would prefer Trump to die on Nov 4th though
If Trump either dies or his health is to poor to function as President, I think it should technically fall to his Primary challenger Bill Weld and not go to Pence.
Yes, some Republicans disliked Trump and thought he should be challenged, though it was kind of suppressed with no Primary debates. Apparently, Bill Weld gained 1 Delegate and is technically in second place.

It doesn't matter since Trump is on the ballot and there is nothing else that can be done. People would have to vote for someone who is dead.
Another reason we should have a Ranked Choice or Runoff system.
That's what I thought too, but that's apparently not the case. All ballots cast will be changed to the new candidate.
Well even in that scenario it would be up to the party to choose their nominee. Wouldn't matter who was in second place.
