Castro and Warren doing really well

RIP Beto

We had a stutter so we're just at the second commercial break now. I pretty much said going into tonight that Warren, if she's on, will roll, and I like Castro but wasn't sure he was ready. The immigration thing he was a bull on, but he got a little too pedantic on the specific section. Booker was better than I expected, and I like Klobuchar but she's basically reminding me of what a less-s***ty Clinton would have been.

Why was Beto popular? he seems so fake, well of course he was running against Cruz so anyone would seem like a stand up guy next to him.

Castro and Booker were the big winners. Castro at a minimum can shoot to the top of VP possibilities.

Delaney needs a hearing aid or someone needs to poke him with a sharp stick to keep him focused, the guy didn't hear the moderators serval times lol. He should drop out now, he's like an ugly penis with half a head of hair, he's not someone that people are going to get behind. I like Inslee talking about climate change but he's just not going to get anywhere. I don't think Klobuchar is going to go anywhere either, she's got no personality and she's just not offering anything bold.

I think Tulsi struggled until she responded to Ryan talking about us needing to be in Afghanistan. Booker, Castro and Warren all did well and I'll give honorable mention to De Blasio for reminding the party what they are supposed to be about. I also liked Ryan bringing up that the party needs to start paying more attention to the middle class but he just seemed to trip over his words far too often.

Castro made big strides last night. He's trending everywhere. Beto is also trending... for all the wrong reasons. He needs to end his candidacy soon and focus on taking a senate seat in Texas.

Bernie complained about it being rigged against him in 2016 yesterday. We are so doomed.

Does he not realize that he's terrible at debating? Hillary crushed him in 2016 even if she did have some questions. He gets rattled from fellow Democrats, imagine what Republicans would do to him in the general?

Bernie really irritates me, because if he dropped out right now, his support would go mostly to Warren most likely and then we'd have a good race.

The problem is that the more people you have, the more "crazy" stands out. We saw it in 2016 with Trump. The outrageous characters stand out (remember when Ben Carson was leading?) while the "normal" vote gets split. If you took the votes for Kasich, Cruz and Rubio and combined them, they'd have beaten Trump. There were more "normal" Republicans, but they got split up.

I have seen polls where more Bernie supporters pick Biden over Warren as second choice but we do need to get the field much smaller. People complained in 2016 about having not even choices but now we have too many. No debate can be meaningful with that many people on the stage.

And as great as Warren is she is still the one I want to face if I'm Trump
