True but Yang has broken through with a lot of libertarians, maybe they can get the conversation going in those areas? I know it's all pie in the sky but it's still something I wish for lol.

Are there any real libertarians left, or just more Freedom Caucus / Rand Paul types who are against government only when it's not their party?

Good question lol whatever they are a good number of them seem to want $1000 a month though.

Yes there are.

Okay so, at one point I was a Ron Paul supporter for 2008 and 2012. Look I mostly pitched support his way over foreign policy.

I did give some consideration to his monetary theories and small government. I gradually backed off from his Gold Bug ideas, though he did at least seem very anti-corruption at least.

There are Ron Paul forums that are still very active and accepting of the Laissez Faire Capitalism, Free Markets, and of course All Taxation is Theft. Some are borderline Anarchists.

For what it's worth, I was also sympathestic to Dennis Kucinich who seemed a little less fringy at the time.

But yeah, once in a while I will wander over to the Ron Paul people and it's like political bizarro world. I wonder what WTF I was thinking getting involved in that movement.

If you look at true libertarians, they are way more conservative than the insanity that has become the Republican party.

While there are extremists in any group, most libertarians just want a common sense economic policy to greatly reduce spending. The media loves to dump on them and tell you how "crazy" they are. CNN was giving lots of air time to the libertarians until they realized Hillary was losing and suddenly started running anti-libertarian hit pieces. (maybe they should have run pieces telling people why Hillary was a good choice?)

They may be fringe candidates, but they aren't fringe ideas. It is actually a lot of simple things that a lot of people could agree on.

The Republicans are worshiping a former reality tv star who is a compulsive liar, but libertarians are crazy? The GOP talks about the deficit all the time, but just keeps spending and spending and spending.

At this point through most indies have fallen in line with the Democrats as we have to get this insanity out of the White House.

So here it is. I'd expect to see this raised during the next debate and wonder if it can have some impact on the audience or viewers at home.

No one in this group is living on UBI and abandoning all productivity, but getting much needed relief or even a boost, in particular for the college student.

Also, noteworthy one recipient is giving away the whole thing to a friend. Some progressives fear UBI is a stealth attack against a Welfare system they hold dear, but what Michael is doing show UBI as a reduction in bureaucracy and immediate flexibility in channeling financial aid.

91 of America's biggest corporations paid zero taxes. The corporate rate is 11.3 on corporations.

Something to remember when Republicans and the rich tell everyone how businesses are "crippled" from taxes. Sure, the stock market does well, but the money does not trickle down to the average person. Corporations get richer and our deficit grows.

Maize Hirono just called out gabbard on MSNBC saying, 'I guess she can't decided if shaking down president of Ukraine is a bad thing out not.'

#tulsicoward is trending on Twitter.
