The Football/Soccer Thread

Went to watch the mighty Bradford City play today.

Greatest team ever.

Slumped to a pathetic 0-1 defeat to Rotherham.

Big game though..I assume it received massive coverage in the states.

Lol no.

Second division teams don't get any coverage here. I enjoy all leagues of British Football, but they don't get coverage over here in the states.

Silver lining is that this absolutely forces Wenger to buy a new striker. I think he's going to get Benteke as his dip in form this year will have dropped his value and he's not cup tied. Diego Costa is a possibility if he really does have 32 million buy out and wants to come.
Benzema and Jackson Martinez are long shots.

Of all the positions to lose a starter I'd rather it be Walcott though as Ox and Gnabry can fill in admirabley.

ACL needs to be genetically enhanced for future athletes. Seems like so many ACL injuries lately. What a worthless ligament for being so important.

Liverpool at Stoke game was good today. End to end action.
Hopefully the gunners will leave Villa Park with three points tomorrow and regain the title lead.

I didn't know this thraed is all about England......

Haha, big Arsenal fan here. I am happy they have many German players, & hope we can sign Draxler, if not this winter, in the summer.

Sorry, Man United fan. Too funny not to post. I am sure the current form is temporary.

Terrible decisions against us tonight.

City have now become the new UTD getting BS calls in their favour.

Gunners were an imbarrassment this weekend. Only joy I got was in watching ManUre drop more points.

On an MLS note my TFC look to finally be tired of being the laughing stock of football in signing Defoe, Micheal Bradley and possibley Ceaser on loan from QPR.

Toronto Fc win their season opener in hostile Seattle. Villians beat Chelski and Gunners beat Spurs at White Heart Lane who wanted nothing more than to ruin their title chances.
Football gods were good to me this weekend.
