I nominate Destiny for most advertised features missing from actual product.

I would have though Zelda U would have been on the most anticipated list? Seen just as much footage as Uncharted i.e very little.

They usually shaft Nintendo on these awards shows, I'm surprised Bayonetta 2 is on the GOTY nominees. Totally deserves to be nominated.

Also, I voted for the eSports nominations based on their looks alone. Evil Genuises look like the coolest team, but that Get_Right guy was the most hilarious looking.

Best Family Game - Tomodachi Life? Really? That game doesn't have multiplayer. It doesn't even have more than one save file. That game is family-friendly for sure, but when I think "family game" I think "a game you play with your family" and that isn't the case here.

Super Smash Wii U not nominated for anything but best fighter? Come on. At least they gave mad props to Bayonetta 2.

Monolith Productions made one game that was generally well-received, but winning best developer for that would be a bit of a sham. Nintendo is behind 9 of the games on the list, leaps and bounds above every other developer, seems a little unbalanced to put up a studio with only one game. I mean, if you're going to give Best Developer to a studio with one game that year, it needs to be a game of Telltale or Valve quality, something extremely special. Shadow of Mordor looks like a great game, but I wouldn't say it's on that level.

Not sure you could give "best performance" to anyone who isn't Kevin Spacey with a straight face.

Again how is Zelda U not on Most Anticipated? Some of the games on the list have shown little to no in-game footage so far, and half of them were 2014 releases that got delayed last-minute. I also think the hype for Evolve is pretty much gone; that game won so many awards at E3 only to run an alpha to an overwhelming "good-not-great."

I'll take a guess at these games being the winner....

I forget, but is this the game show where there's all sort of "trying to be cool" music bits and comedy sketches?

No, or at least I hope not. That was the VGAs. They're dead now, and Keighley has moved on to this, which is a new awards show. He's the major funder and supposedly is calling most of the shots himself. Sounds like it's worth a look, at least to see if he can create something worthwhile.

Oooh boy.. I don't want to jinx it but if a certain game gets announced I'll probably fall right out of my chair.

Note that when Keighley says "more than a dozen world premieres," he isn't necessarily talking about new games. It may just be a world premiere of a teaser trailer. In a follow up post, he says that it'll be a mix of both.

I agree that a Fallout announcement would be great.

This just reminds me of how many games i need to play. I'll watch for a potential Fallout 4 announcement. I'm not banking on it though.

Reminder, this is on tonight. 8pm central, 9 eastern. Supposedly, there will be new info or footage of the following (copied from GAF):

1. Metal Gear Online
2. No Man's Sky
3. Bloodborne
4. The Order 1886
5. King's Quest
6. Dungeon Defenders 2
7. Adrift
8. Witcher 3
9. Josef Fares new game (Brothers a Tale of Two Sons Director)
10. Human Element (Not 100% confirmed)
11. Godzilla the Game

I am feeling kind of sick so I'll stay in and watch.
Not expecting a whole lot but Nintendo has been advertising so maybe they'll announce a Cranky Kong spin off.
I don't really care if Smash and/or Bayonetta 2 don't win anything. It won't reiterate to me how I feel about those games.

Exactly that. I think it was already said they'd have a new trailer of Bloodborn and The Order...both games are well known to be coming out.

Fallout not gonna happen. Sweet old bethesda recently said they had nothing to show at the show this year....it honestly is getting tiresome this wait for only the f***ing announcement.

Cranky Kong DLC confirmed for SSB

Ah, almost forgot. Thanks for the heads up.

Is this on TV at all? Or just Twitch and other streaming services?

Good gamer-centric intro, then Reggie, Miyamoto, Kojima, Sutherland, Schaefer ... I'm only 20 minutes in, but so far it's much better than any of the VGAs.

Phantom Pain MP trailer was awesome. Loved the selfie at the end.

Tacoma, from creators of Gone Home announced. Science fiction setting. I'm intrigued.
