You know, upon further inspection, I see that much of the pace seems more on the editing of this trailer. Maybe I'm just warming up to it, but I'm starting to think the second half will be pretty enjoyable. Hopefully the first half is good. I'm also digging the diverse cast of characters. Instead of making it entirely cowboys, they've made a pretty interesting cast of characters so far. Purist fans of 1960's M7 will hate it, but I think this decision will be enough to separate it and make it's own mark. I mean, considering that the anime adaptation went extremely off kilter, adapting Seven Samurai into a sci-fi steampunk anime TV series, this one seems rather tame in comparison.
