No comments on the first episode? Dat sh!t was crazy! Heavy Western vibe. Maybe a little bit too thick on that at times, but they have seem to have either upped their SFX budget, or have just gotten better at making more out of what they've got. This S2 opener was a whole lot of episode, IMO. They've also definately pushed the conventional lore again! I really like the direction they are taking with the story so far. Some real risk involved there. It's a bit cliche with the Western town deal, but I've honestly wanted to learn more about that planet anyway! That armor! Yeahhh.
The music was actually top notch, too. That composer dude has really stepped up his game! I feel spoiled at home with my humble mid-grade Atmos surround setup. That plus watching this show on a projector screen is pretty fantastic. If theaters being closed didn't make me love owning a projector so much already, it's definitely shows like this... Big enough in scale and spectacle to be seen on a large screen, but meant to be watched at home. It's freakishly big for my main viewing device in a condo, but not so once you view really good content on it. I chose this path years ago (actually during OG Xbox days), and it's really the only way for me.
