The Official Huck It Chuck It Football 2023-2024 Thread

Good God, the Jaguars still really really suck. And who did the Broncos blow to start the season with the Giants, Jags and Jets?
John Elway still has some major pull around the league I guess.

Also yes, the Jaguars do really really suck. We'll split the series unfortunately

Ravens and Chiefs was the easiest over to choose of all time.

Texans getting 13 was too.

Hopefully the Lions can cover tonight lol

Yeah, we'll split the series right down the middle, one home win and one away win. Guess who's getting both wins?

You don't follow Urban. He goes home to spend time with his family because that's really important to him, and then a year or two later takes the next job.
Yup. Don't forget his list of promises to his family....

1. My family will always come first.

2. I will take care of myself and maintain good health.

3. I will go on a trip once a year with Nicki — MINIMUM.

4. I will not go more than nine hours a day at the office.

5. I will sleep with my cellphone on silent.

6. I will continue to communicate daily with my kids.

7. I will trust God’s plan and not be overanxious.

8. I will keep the lake house.

9. I will find a way to watch Nicki and Gigi play volleyball.

10. I will eat three meals a day.

Number 8 is my favorite lol

I find it so strange he turned down the Texas job to go NFL with the Jags. From what I heard in the last month or so he spoke to every close friend he could for advice.

*Indy meme* you chose poorly.

I'd rather coach the Jags than Texas too. Too much politicking, he actually may have been able to use his heart as a legit excuse this time

Who didn't think the Patriots weren't going with the vaccinated MJ for a heck of a lot less?

Cams non vax status is what has kept certain teams from signing him thus far.
I do think he still has a chance to be picked up.
I don't disagree at all that it hurts his chances because of the NFL covid protocols but Belichick would have gone with him in a heartbeat if he thought Cam gave him a better chance to win than Mac Jones. If he was viewed as even a lower tier starter he would find his way on a team.

A team may end up desperate at some point in the season but its desperation. He clearly isn't viewed as valuable at this point.

They signed him to a extension THIS off season lol

He made a great decision.

He wouldn't of got signed off season if his arm was shot.
Obviously not since he's unemployed.
