I'm only about halfway through the latest Punisher but I am enjoying it. It is a little slow but I am enjoying it.

Season 2 could have used more action, but I liked it quite a bit.

Not surprised, especially since all the others have been axed.

So is this Disney just reeling in everything Marvel for their own subscription service?

Yeah, that is it for sure. Disney Plus is appartently going to maintain the family friendly ethos of Disney so if these shows do return on that service I cannot see them being anything nearly as gritty as they have been so far. And that makes me a sad panda.

There have been suggestions that it really is Netflix who is pulling the plug but either way there is no way Disney would put The Punisher on their service. Throw it on Hulu maybe.

FWIW the Marvel letter to the fans seemed to put all the blame on Netflix. You have to wonder if these shows just cost too much $$$ to make and if they flop (like so many of them do) it just isn't worth it. People forget about the cost factor of TV shows. Why else do you think we get bombarded with talent/singing shows with B list hosts? Because they are super cheap to make.

Don't get why they axed Daredevil, though. Fans loved it. Seemed well received by critics.

The others I get, I ron Fist and Luke Cage were pretty bad. The first season of Punisher was not very Punishery.
