Was a great football Sunday. We went to my parents house to watch. I grilled some burgers, bacon wrapped peppers with cheese, and we made some boudin dip. I’m stuffed!
Sounds great man. Need to buy a grill for me and the lady, been slacking on it so bad.

Have been cooking with my Instant Pot like crazy recently though, this little machine is seriously a game changer

I got a Weber Spirit II three burner a few months back. Awesome grill. You should be able to get a great deal on floor models at Home Depot now. I saw a Genesis one for $400 off.

Well, I made some chili the other day in about 20 mins (that would normally take 8 hours in a slow cooker) that was incredible. On top of that, just making like salsa chicken/bbq chicken type things is super easy. Red Beans and Rice, dude pretty much anything. It's so easy and it's so fast

Nice yeah I'd probably just get a small Weber or something similar, we don't have much porch space due to our weird house layout, but I definitely need to get on that. If we move into a real house or something with a bigger porch I'm definitely upgrading though

Only just came across this thread after all these years lol. Anyway, my random thought for today is, why do I feverishly visit this site every day and read about all things gaming and get hyped up, yet I’ve got a game pass sub, and I’ve got Gears 5 downloaded as well as the new Metro which I’ve been looking forward to, yet can’t bring myself to even load them up and play them? Bought an Xbox One X and an Oled TV specifically for the upgrade and for some reason can’t even play 5 minutes of games I’ve been looking forward to. Am I weird or something? Last gen I was mainly a mp gamer but after the Witcher 3 I have found myself more into single player games his gen. I own a PS4 and apart from Uncharted 4 I’ve played none of the brilliant games Sony have put out. I think k part of it is because I want to play them in 4K or is it because I’m an Xbox fan? Help

I do the same thing. I think it's a time thing, like I don't have enough time in the world to play half of what I want to, and then when I sit down to actually do it I don't feel like putting in the effort to get actually into a game lol

One of the reasons I've drifted toward fighting games. Had a long work week or whatever I can just go a few rounds.

No long ass campaign, no leveling(usually), and avoid Crafting.

The closest I might get to a campaign if you can call it that will be single player DooM.

I don't do multiplayer anymore though.

I'm in a rut myself. It's usually in the summer then gets better in the fall and winter. I started Sekiro a couple weeks ago and really enjoying it, but now its been like 4-5 days since I played it. I think about it right now and it sounds like a blast, then I get home and meh. Maybe I'll just watch some sports or Twitch.

That’s my main problem with gaming now days. The time I have to play. I only get to play on weekends now and when I’m not playing MP games I just don’t have the time to put into SP games I’m interested in anymore. I’ve bought so many games the last couple years on sale, or got games on GwG, and plus everything on GamePass... I have more than I can ever find the time to play.

I quit buying brand new games. Only game I got this year at launch was Division 2. Only other game I plan on getting day one is COD Modern Warfare.

It's why I pretty much play Rocket League exclusively. Games are like 10 mins max, and then I can go on with whatever I'm supposed to do IRL

Can’t make it to work. Beaumont and surrounding areas already under water. Some are saying rising faster and worse than when Harvey hit. The town we will live in is higher so we should be ok. I’m sure Houston areas are way worse haven’t checked yet.
