One of the only two good friends that I have left in life died on Tuesday and the funeral is this Wednesday. f*** cancer.

Years back I took donations after people kept saying they wanted to donate for me creating, and keeping the site going. I stopped it a few years back. In exchange there were no ads. People could do it for a year $10, or "forever" $50.
Banners have to be created on my end and there's only a couple that I have; Forum Mod, Super Mod, Cornerstone Member.

A good friend of mine is having a birthday party for her dog at a dog swimming pool place in late August. I've been invited and will probably go, but this is the weirdest s*** lol. She's spending so much money on this party, like I can't believe it.
At least I'll get to hang with dogs all day so that'll be cool though. Might post pics

What kind of job does this person have that they have so much money to fritter away? Or is this person just wreckless with credit?
My guess is bad credit. It is so easy for people to finance themselves up the wazoo and not even realize that they are one bad day away from bankruptcy.
I notice too a lot of people are just in debt for the rest of their lives and just sort of say "f it". They'll never dig themselves out, so why care? Just keep going deeper and what's the difference?
Not going to give away any details, but she works in investments and is doing very well for herself.
Wow that kind of makes me think I should buy stocks or something, though I'm feeling risk averse and wondering how things like stock or real estate will hold up. I feel like things are artificially propped up for now.
I guess it depends on the investment though; it might not be either of those conventional things.
