for anyone who has Netflix this is highly recommend this. It's the true story of an Irish company of UN peacekeepers forced to defend a town in the Congo against Belgian and French mercenaries in the 1960s. It's basically a story of the Cold War. It's very good. Interestingly it is to this day the only time an Irish army unit engaged the military of a foreign government.
